Television ads play up statements outlined in the brand identity. The spots give focus to the careers and success of our graduates, the nurturing experience they have while at the college, and the quality and relevance of a Delaware Tech education. All television ads are produced professionally, using paid on-screen talent that can more naturally portray the themes of the brand identity. Quality and up-to-date technologies are a major part of the Delaware Tech identity, so special attention is paid to make sure our ads stand out on local cable and network television stations. Our spots are enhanced with a special film-look to make them appear of higher quality than the run-of-the-mill video-look ads which prevail on local television. A professional announcer from out of our region is used on each spot to ensure that no other advertiser will have the same narrator. His voice then becomes recognizable as the voice of Delaware Tech.
Radio ads are recorded to carry the same themes as the television spots. The same narrator's voice is used to help with the recognition factor that what the audience is hearing represents Delaware Tech. The idea is that repeating the same message they may have heard on television is repetition for the senses. Repetition is recognition.
