Welcome
Who We Are:
The Bulgarian Water and Wastewater Operators Training Center is a funded project through the UNITED STATES AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (USAID) implemented by DELAWARE TECHNICAL & COMMUNITY COLLEGE and its Bulgarian partner, the BULGARIAN NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WATER QUALITY to develop a sustainable Water and Wastewater Operators Training Center in Bulgaria. The project began in October, 2003. This Center will provide technical training to operators, supervisors and managers of water and wastewater treatment plants, enabling Bulgaria to meet its goals for improving delivery and quality of water and water treatment services. Delaware Tech is working with Members of the Bulgarian Parliament and Ministry Officials to build a regulatory, financial, and technical framework that will allow Bulgaria to continue this work once USAID's support is completed.
