The General Educational Development Test - GED
The State of Delaware requires everyone who registers for the GED Exam to pass the PracticeTest first. Registrations must be completed in person at the Stanton Campus. You must bring a driver's license or state ID as proof of residency.

How do I start?
Take the free Locator/TABE Test
• The Locator/TABE test is currently offered on
Thursday’s at 2:00pm (Wilmington campus)
Monday's at 12:45pm (Stanton campus)
• No appointment necessary
• Arrive PRIOR to 2:00pm -seating is limited
• Must bring a photo ID
• Note: May take up to two hours to complete
Based on the results of your test, you will be directed to EITHER Adult Basic Education classes, GED classes or directly to Step 3. You must take the Locator/TABE test before you are eligible to start any classes.
Register in person with a driver's license or state ID at the Stanton Campus of Delaware Technical and Community College Corporate & Community Programs office for the Practice Test. The Practice Test is required by the State of Delaware and must be passed by everyone going on to take the GED Exam.
If you are younger than 18 years old, but at least 16, you must bring in both your high school withdrawal papers and high school transcript.
After successful completion of the Practice Test, register in person with a driver's license or state ID at the Stanton Campus of Delaware Technical and Community College Corporate & Community Programs office for the GED Exam.

7/30, 8/27, 9/24, 10/29, 11/19, & 12/17
