The Delaware Valley Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI®-DVC) and DTCC are offering two seminars in professional project management.

Both courses are based on PMI’s® A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Third Edition and are designed to improve your project management skills; and foster your professional development.

All instructors are members of the PMI-DVC and are certified PMPs with extensive real world project management experience, as well as academic training creditentials.

Foundations in Project Management

Foundations in Project Management is an in-depth, four-day instruction in the principles of project management as described in PMI's® revised Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) 3rd Edition. Designed for those who are new to the discipline, this course will acquaint you with current principles and best practices in project management. Taught by nationally certified, working practitioners, Foundations lays a strong knowledge base that enables you to return to the workplace and practice what you have learned. It is also a good prelude to begin studying for your PMP® certification.

PMP Certification Review

The Prep for PMP® Certification Class in an intense, two day, preparation study course. It is intended for candidates who are experienced in project management, and have taken courses such
as PMI®-DVC's "Foundations in Project Management." This course concentrates solely on preparation for PMI's® Project Management Professional (PMI®) certification exam. Students will review material normally covered in the exam and will receive instruction on how to best prepare for the examination.
