Automotive Electrical Systems I (A6)     $310 + $90 lab
This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of electricity/electronics and magnetism and their relationship to automotive electrical systems. Laboratory experience includes building of electrical circuits, using Ohms Law, calculating circuit design and applications, understanding electrical symbols, and reading schematics. Testing/overhaul of starting and charging systems and body related components are also included.

This course provides the student with training in the fundamentals of heating and air conditioning systems; the basic theory of operation, air pollution problems, and the diagnosis, repair, and service procedures for manual and automatic temperature control systems. Lab experience includes operational checks of the system, replacement of components, trouble shooting of systems malfunction, and the handling/safety of Freon. Textbook required.

Weatherization Installer I Program    $310 + $90 lab
Upon completion of this course, the student will have an understanding of theory, methods, installation of weatherization materials. Along with demonstrations, the student will participate in hand-on applications of job safety, hand tool use, blower door components, dry wall patching, and installation of weather stripping,
a door threshold and sweep, caulk and foam a joint, insulation, insulate water pipe and a hot water heater, install glazing and cut plexiglass.

Weatherization Installer II Program    $310 + $90 lab
This course combines the set up procedures associated with equipment and field analysis for finding and measuring air leakage using the Blower Door. The training will move into advanced techniques utilizing the manometer and other tools along with the detection of air leakage paths through zonal testing. Pressure pan testing will also be covered.
