American Cancer Society 16 th Annual Holiday Fling (12/5/03): For a small donation we will be attending a semi formal dinner and dance. There will also be a silent auction we will be able to participate in to bid on products to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Christmas Dinner at the Elderly Home (12/11/03): PTK members are going to a senior center in Oxford PA to cook for elderly person and to serve lunch to the elderly from 11am-2pm. We will also sit down and eat with the elderly members.

Kappan Klowning:
We collected new beanie babies, coloring books, crayons, art supplies for the children at AI DuPont Hospital. PTK members will dress up in funny outfits and go to AI DuPont Hospital. We will do a fun activity with the children as well as hand out coloring books, crayons, stickers and beanie babies to the children.

Middle States Forty Niners Contest:
For every 49 hours of community service our chapter completes we will be eligible for a drawing to win monies toward registration for the next Honors Institute.

Thanksgiving baskets: Members made a basket filled with all the Thanksgiving day food treats and donated the basket to Children's Inc. This is an organization that helps shelters that house families.

Project Graduation: Collected canned food from the student body and donated the food to a shelter for Abused Women and Children.

Easter Flower Baskets: We did a joint effort with the Human Services club and made floral baskets for elderly person located in nearby assisted living and retirement homes. We took the baskets to those who were living alone and were in need of some company and cheer.

Middle States Pennsylvania Leadership Conference: Three Officers of our chapter went to the conference to attend seminars on improving leadership skills, fundraising and networking with other individuals. (See pictures below).

International Honors Institute: Members of PTK went for a week long seminar on learning more about PTK as an organization as well as attending mini seminars on leadership, fellowship, scholarship and service. Intense seminars on cancer and ways to spread the word about prevention and awareness of cancer
