Our career assessments will help you find the career track that's right for you. DISCOVER is one of our computerized career guidance programs.

We have a variety of assessments that will assess your interests, abilities, experiences, and values:

The Strong Interest Inventory - measures your interests in a broad range of occupations, work activities, leisure activities, and school subjects.

Self-Directed Search - is a paper and pencil assessment based on the work of John Holland. The results if the assessment will suggest some career options that may be right for you.

Resumé Preparation - the Career Center staff will assist you in preparing a professional resumé from start to finish!

Research - You are welcome to use our print library, computerized career programs, or the Internet.

Job Search - In addition to on-campus recruiting by area employers, we also particpate in the BIE/Kent County Job Fair, whch gives our students the opportunity to interact with a multitude of employers.

The Center receives job listings from area employers. These are posted on our job board and updated on a daily basis. Students who are seeking employment are encouraged to register with the Center.

College Central Network
  • The Career Center now offers access to the College Central Network, an electronic employment data bank that gives employers, students, and alumni an exclusive opportunity to post jobs and résumés.
