Reference web sites

License data can be pooled
- Env var "MS_LICENSEPOOL" points to where pool file is at
- Not sure if this is only available to "run from network" installs, or if we can install locally, and still pool licenses
Locks are done by lock files (*.lok)
Hmm, manual mentions netinst program, but none exists on the CD. Looks like local install (non-network) is our only choice. Luckily, that's what we want, but license pooling would be nice.
Looks like no unattended setup option. sysdiff, here we come...
Start Menu icons are installed in Administrator menu, not All Users. Must move manually.
It's clear I have to learn how to customize the myriad of vars available.
Help icons run winhelp.exe and not winhlp32.exe. For some reason, they tend to peg the CPU if winhelp is used. Therefore, we will just "fix" the shortcuts to run winhlp32 and not worry about it.
Complete install estimated at 72 megs

Make snapshot using sysdiff on clean install
Install Microstation from m95ac\windows\disk01\setup.exe
Run Microstation, input license values
Move Start Menu folder to All Users profile...
Kill deinstaller icon
Edit help shortcuts to run winhlp32 and not winhelp
Add line "%include G:/LIB/USTATION/dtlocal.cfg" to mslocal.cfg file
Change Microstation Shortcut in Start Menu to run g:\bin\ustation.bat
Create a directory structure on the server (in a template area of some sort)
- ustation
- ustation/config/user
- ustation/dgn/
- ustation/out/
- ustation/license/
Copy user directory from install to template directory
Copy ms95.lic from local drive to user area (note: want to play with license pooling so we do this right as soon as possible)
