ATTENTION STUDENTS

REGISTER NOW FOR SUMMER AND/OR FALL CLASSES. WHY?

• Keep your campus Windows account and files active over the Summer
• Less chance for your desired classes to be full
• No need to make a payment for Fall classes until August 1, 2003

ALL OF YOUR FILES ARE AT RISK OF DELETION. PLEASE READ BELOW CAREFULLY.

In order to maintain your student account during the summer, you should do at least one of the below actions ON OR BEFORE MAY 15.

• Register for at least one Summer *credit* course at any DTCC campus
• Early register for at least one Fall *credit* course at any campus

The automated account maintenance program will delete your campus Windows account around May 24 timeframe if one of the above cases is not true. If you will not be registering by the close of the day on May 16, you should copy any files you wish to save to your own media before your account is deleted.

IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS DELETED, YOUR FILES ON THE SERVER GET DELETED AS WELL

Students who will be getting an I grade, and who do not fall into one of the above cases, and require their account to make up their work, should have their instructor contact weave@hopi.dtcc.edu to extend their account before May 16.

After May 15, no Fall accounts will be created or restored until around August 22, so if you want to keep your account, register for summer or early register for Fall as soon as possible.

NOTE: IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS DELETED, YOUR FILES WILL ALSO BE DELETED. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BACK-UP YOUR OWN FILES THAT YOU WISH TO KEEP. Campus computer operators can assist you in doing this, if needed.

NOTE: Your e-mail account should remain active over the summer regardless of your registration status. The above applies only to your ability to log on to a Stanton/Wilmington Campus computer and your files stored on our servers.
