The "Offline Content" feature that allows you to link to instructor provided information on a CD-ROM is not working. Blackboard is aware of the problem. Students can access material from a CD-ROM by selecting their drive from "My Computer" and choosing the file they want to open.
Known Problem: WYSIWYG Editor Double Spacing
The editor double spaces text by default. If you want to avoid double spacing:
Use the Shift + Return at the end of each line, or
Use MS Word to write the text you want to place in the editor. Select the text, copy it, and paste it into the Blackboard Editor.
Known Problem: File Naming Problem
File names for use in Blackboard assignments must not contain characters other than numbers and English language letters. Files with symbols such as # can not be read by the instructor for grading.
