POSITION TITLE: Language and Culture Instructor - Entry Level (Must Have Less Than Four (4) Years of Experience
PAY GRADE: A00; Salary to be determined by relevant education and experience
CLOSING DATE AND TIME: A completed Delaware Tech employment application must be received by the Human Resources Office in order to be considered for this position. This position will remain open until an adequate pool of applications is received.
The incumbent in this position is responsible for teaching a variety of Language and Culture courses. Experience in using technology to support second-language learning is preferred. The incumbent is also responsilbe for maintaining currency in second language acqusition. In addition, the incumbent may teach an evening course and serve as course leader for the English as a Second Langage Evening Program classes that are taught by adjunct faculty.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Ability to effectively communicate subject matter content and to relate to a diverse population in a multicultural environment.
