ANNOUNCEMENT OF STAFF VACANCY

LOCATION: Wilmington Campus
POSITION TITLE: Child Development Center Manager
PAY GRADE: B16; $44,656/yr

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The incumbent is responsible for managing, developing and coordinating activities and events relative to the Child Development Center. The incumbent in this position is also responsible for the overall management and supervision of the NAEYC accredited Child Development Center at the Wilmington Campus. Experience directing & supervising in an accredited program under the new accreditation system is required. Knowledge of the new State and Nationals standards are required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Four (4) years of relevant work experience, including supervision, or equivalent additional years of education
Strong writing, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
Knowledge of database, spreadsheet and word processing software
Ability to effectively communicate and relate to a diverse
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal background check
