The Department of Institutional Advancement was created to enhance the College’s ability to provide Access, Opportunity, Hope and Excellence to the students of Delaware Tech.

Through our fundraising efforts, we are able to keep tuition low while expanding the number of scholarships we provide each year, further opening the door of Access for students who might not otherwise be able to afford a college education. In addition, by using donations to expand our existing programs and enhance the quality of our current ones, we can assure students that our academic programs will continue to meet our standards of Excellence. We give Hope to students who can trust that a Delaware Tech education will afford them the Opportunities they’ve always dreamed of. Our mission also includes providing opportunities to students in our non-credit programs such as funding Delaware Tech summer camp scholarships to benefit low-income youth.

We hope you will share in our goal to “light tomorrow with today” by helping us invest today in our students’ futures. If you would like to contribute, consider doing so through one of our initiatives such as the Shaping the Future fundraising campaign or the Educational Foundation. The Institutional Advancement Department develops and implements funding procurement strategies to ensure the continuing enhancement and expansion of college programs and initiatives. The Department coordinates fundraising activities including grant development, annual giving, major campaigns, planned giving, and special events through relationships with individuals, alumni, corporations, foundations and government.
