At Delaware Tech, we recognize that the seeds for a successful college experience are planted well before high school. Our summer camps, which serve children from age five to 17, provide safe, challenging, enriching and fun experiences at each of our four campus locations.

These youth initiatives provide young people with experiences that guide them toward personal, academic and professional success. Our specialty camps give children the opportunity to develop their artistic and athletic talents, while academic camps offer enrichment in school studies. Career camps help young teens explore different career options through field trips and hands-on activities.

Additionally, we want our young people to become familiar with Delaware Tech and feel comfortable being on a college campus. The experiences they have at our camps will have a positive impact on the choices they make when they finish high school.

Even at the reasonable cost of $160 per week, youth from low- income families find it difficult to attend. Many disadvantaged youth could benefit from our camps if scholarship money was available. Currently, we receive little government and private support to run these programs.
