- Faculty Workshop: How to Develop a Successful Study Abroad Program
Have you thought about bringing your course content overseas? Don't know where to start? In this workshop, we'll walk you through the study abroad proposal and development process, from faculty responsibilities, selecting your destination, setting the budget, risk assessment, to recruitment, and marketing.
- Global Skills-Local Impact
Global skills are no longer only needed when leaving the USA. Chances are, our students will encounter cultural differences in the workplace, and those that have the confidence, flexibility, and adaptation skills to work with people from different backgrounds will prove most successful. This workshop will feature some quick and easy tools you can use in the classroom to bring a global perspective to your lessons.
- It’s All Greek to Me: Cross-Cultural Communication Survival Skills
Learn the importance of effective cross-cultural communication! This workshop explores how to navigate between high and low context cultures. It provides tips for working with and doing business in these respective countries and with these cultures.
