CONGRATULATIONS: Bethany Lennox an 8th grader from Milford Middle School has been published in "Teen Ink." Bethany lives in Georgetown, DE. She wrote a story about her great aunt who had MS "Life With a Killer" Chloe Dye, level I English, whose Letters About Literature was selected as the Delaware Level II winning letter. In addition to winning the state round of competition, Chloe's letter has been sent to The Center for the Book in the Library of Congress Letters About Literature headquarters to compete in the national round essay contest. The national round winners are scheduled to be announced on April 15. Two Academic Challenge students were published in the December "Teen Ink." Haley George, from Beacon
Middle School, Lewes DE, had a story published called
"Chelsea, Bay and Me."
Bethany LaChance, from Phillis Wheatley Middle School, Seaford DE, gave her opinion on school uniforms, "A Sea of Gray."
