| Engineering Technology - Math Option |
| Welcome to the Engineering Technologies Department. The Math Option under the Engineering Technology program is a formal connected degree with the University of Delaware. The program serves as the freshman and sophomore years and allows graduates to transfer as juniors to the University of Delaware's BS program in Engineering Technology. The AAS program provides a solid foundation in mathematics and science and a broad knowledge of basic engineering principles and applications such as computer aided design (CAD), surveying, and programming. The curriculum includes two technical electives allowing students to pursue more in-depth study in architecture, civil or mechanical design. Upon transfer, the University program prepares graduates to make independent judgments and to solve problems associated with manufacturing processes, construction design, project management, machinery systems, and environmental and water resources issues. Excellent transfer opportunities are also available to other university programs in engineering technology. |
