Alumni make their mark
Each year the Owens Campus takes time to recognize those individuals who have left the college — our graduates who have achieved excellence in their professional careers.
Recognition for outstanding achievements is given with the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Award and induction into the Alumni Walk of Success.
This award recognizes Owens Campus graduates who have made significant contributions to their communities through their academic and career achievements, community service, and personal accomplishments. Bronze plaques bearing the graduate’s name, date of graduation, and date of induction are placed in the walkway between the Stephen J. Betze Library and the Carter Partnership Center; each honoree also receives a plaque.
The Owens Campus Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award, to be presented at the Annual Walk of Success Induction Ceremony on October 8.
