What's new online....AOC ... Accredited Online Courses

In addition to credit and non-credit courses taught in the classroom, Delaware Tech offers several online non-credit computer courses.

You can register online at
the Delaware Tech web site at:

www.ed2go.com/dtccowens/

REGISTRATION

  • All students need to register online and attend orientation prior to the start date of their course.
  • At the ONLINE INSTRUCTION CENTER select courses from the menu.
  • Select the category Internet Courses, Computer Courses, Small Business Courses, Large Business/Management Courses, and Personal Enrichment Courses.
  • Select the title of the course; this brings you to the course requirements, syllabus, and instructor profile. Please read this information to ensure you have the software requirements. At the bottom select Register to take this course. Complete the registration form and select SUBMIT.
  • When you receive the confirming email with a registration form, please complete and return to me, Karen Burroughs, (with tuition) by mail, in person, by phone; or, by return email. (Click the "reply" icon and type in the requested information, if returning registration form by email. This should include your Social Security Number and date of birth. Do not complete this form, if you have already contacted me with payment information.)

ORIENTATION

  • You will need to attend a separate online orientation for each course.
  • Select orientation from the menu. All requested information must be provided; select Continue. At this time your name is added to the roster. Once the registrar has verified receipt of payment, your password will be activated and lessons will be available beginning on the start date of the course.

LESSONS

  • Select classroom from the menu. Then select the course name, entering password when prompted.
  • Lessons will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays by noon beginning on the start date of the course. Once a lesson has been posted, it will be accessible throughout the course.

FINAL EXAM

  • Go to the classroom. Click on Lesson 12. Click on the last chapter. Scroll down to the bottom. Click on Final Exam.

LETTER OF COMPLETION

  • To print the online completion letter, go to the classroom. Click on Lesson 12. Click on the last chapter. Scroll down to the bottom. Click on Online Completion letter. Print.

COURSE EVALUATION

  • Your impressions and comments are very important to us and beneficial in helping Delaware Tech ensure course content and materials are current and up to date. Click on Lesson 12. Go to the classroom. Click on the last chapter. Scroll down to the bottom. Click on Course Evaluation. Complete and submit.
