Mission
Classic Upward Bound empowers participants to complete high school and enter and complete a program of postsecondary education by providing academic support, personal guidance, parent education, and enrichment services in the area of study skills, college preparation, and financial aid.

- College and career awareness activities
- Six-week summer academic skills enrichment program
- Tours of colleges and universities which offer a wide variety of course offerings in programs where Classic Upward Bound participants may be under represented
- Trips to area businesses in fields where applicants must have a college degree
- Cultural trips to various cities which offer a wide variety of events and experiences
