“NATE” TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION TEST

Become “NATE” certified. Delaware Tech offers testing for the HVACR technician to become nationally certified. This exam can be taken at your convenience during the Testing Center hours of operation. Recommended study guide available in the bookstore.

REFRIGERANT COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION

The EPA Section 608 refrigeration certification training and exam can be taken at your convenience during Testing Center hours of operation. Take exam the same day or schedule at your convenience. Recommended study guide is available in the bookstore.

INDUSTRY COMPETENCY EXAMS (ICE)

The Industry Competency Exams (ICE) measure industry-agreed standards of basic competency. ICE are the only entry-level exams developed, supported and validated by the major industry associations. The Industry Competency Exams are an excellent pretest for the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) program. Choose from the three exams offered. Exam can be taken at your convenience during the Testing Center hours of operation.

RESIDENTIAL A/C & HEATING EXAM

Competency exam covers knowledge and tasks required of the entry-level technician who will perform system design, installation and start-up, preventive maintenance and/or service and repair of residential air conditioning and heating equipment.
