About Our Program

The ESL certificate program offers courses to meet the varied needs of persons for whom English is not a native language. In beginning, intermediate, and advanced level courses, students develop the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills needed to communicate in everyday life. Students can also prepare themselves to enter the workforce or pursue a degree. An academic certificate is awarded upon completion of the advanced level ESL courses.
