America ~ Heart, Heritage, Hope With love in our hearts, pride in our heritage, and hope in our dreams, we celebrated the spirit and soul of America on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the annual spring gala hosted by Delaware Technical & Community College in Georgetown.
"Starry, Starry Night" was a sold-out event once again. From the scenes of grandeur and beauty to the sampler of food to the dynamic performance of American Idol country rock singer Josh Gracin, the evening highlighted our homeland. The generous spirit of our guests provided nearly $139,000 for the benefit of scholarships and academic support services for students at the Owens Campus.
It is with a grateful heart and a humble spirit that Delaware Tech acknowledges the underwriters, sponsors, and friends whose support enables the college to make a difference in the lives of one of our country' s most valuable resources - its students.
