Materials are added to the Learning Resource Center collection as funds become available.  Patti Payne, LRC manager, selects and purchases the new items based on feedback received from educators.  If you would like to suggest possible acquisitions, please contact Patti at 302.855.1649.  As educators, you know the needs in the classroom and your input is valued.  Please do not hesitate to share your ideas or needs with us.

• Social Studies

Primary Source kits are a great way to teach your students about important events in history while promoting higher-level thinking skills and actively improving students' test-taking skills.  The kits include original documents and photographs as well as letter, maps, cartoons, and posters that help students view history as real events, with causes and effects.  There are eight kits available; please call the Center for titles.

To Our Patrons

The Learning Resource Center will be closing its doors on June 30, 2008.

The Department of Education funding for the Center will not be available after June 30, 2008.  We will be maintaining services during this upcoming school year.
