| Personal safety and protection of property at Delaware Tech is everyone's responsibility. The campus Public Safety Office urges all members of the college community to participate in making our campus as safe as possible. If you develop good safety and security habits, you can assist us in safeguarding your property and college property. The Owens Campus Public Safety Office is a key element in the crime prevention network, working with the Town of Georgetown Police Department, the Delaware State Police, and local emergency services. We encourage you to participate in "The Safe Campus Program," a safety initiative sponsored by the Owens Campus Public Safety Office. This program allows students, visitors, and staff to forward concerns and observations directly to the Public Safety Office through "Safe Campus Program Cards" located at each Information Desk. If you require immediate assistance, call Ext. 4440 from any office telephone. When off campus, you can contact the campus operator at (302) 856-5400, and ask for Ext. 4440. |
