The studio is located in Room 169 in the Jason Technology Center at Delaware Technical & Community College's Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown, Delaware.
Communications students are taught how to operate radio equipment and produce radio programs. Students also learn how to write news stories and public service announcements.
WDTS operates under a Class III FCC category. The station broadcasts on 620 AM, at a cumulative power of 90W. The station's signal follows the electrical systems of the Jason Technology Center and the Arts & Science Center and is also wired into the Fireside Lounge of the Student Services Center.
WDTS operates during the fall and spring semesters only. Hours of operation vary each semester, depending upon student schedules.
WDTS' format is Alternative/Rock. By reporting to the College Music Journal , the station receives promotional music directly from suppliers, at no charge.
