Certificate Option |

Small class size encourages individual attention. The student-to-instructor ratios are 3:1 on the road, 6:1 on the range; student-to-vehicle ratio is 3:1. Certificate Program graduates will test for their CDL "A" operator' s license, earn 12 college credits, receive a certificate of completion, and obtain job placement assistance. The Certificate Program is available in 8-, 16-, 24- or 32-week options in flexible combinations of weekday and/or weekend classes (some evening study is required.) |

The Commercial Transportation Certificate Program is a nationally certified 300-hour curriculum which includes classroom study and practical experience behind the wheel of diesel powered tractor trailers on a private training "range" and public streets and highways. Students receive an average of 55 individual hours of behind-the-wheel driving experience in light, medium, and high density traffic, and practice maneuvering, parking, and other skills. |
