Delaware Tech Students Win Technology Award
Six chemical technology students at Delaware Technical & Community College have been honored with an award from the American Chemical Society (ACS), the world’s largest scientific society.  The ACS is a nonprofit organization with a multidisciplinary membership of more than 158,000 chemists and chemical engineers.

The awards are given to outstanding upper-level chemical technology students who demonstrate a high level of performance in the laboratory and the classroom, excellent oral and written communication skills, integrity and reliability.

The Delaware Tech students who were recognized for their skills and accomplishments are:  Sandy Almassou, Joseph Macaron, Jason Palmer, Heeral Patel, Yuliya Pepelyayeva, and Dominic Reed-Lombardo.

The COUNSELING CORNER is a newsletter for students, faculty and staff. Articles focus on personal and professional development. Published by the Student Services Division. In the Spring, 2008 issue of the Counseling Corner you'll find the following articles -

All sessions are held in the Campus Conference Center. Seating is very limited.  Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before the program begins


Delaware Tech Offers over 50 Summer Camps for Youth Ages 5-15! 
Join us at the Wilmington or Stanton Campus for our Summer Camp Program. Camps are taught by experienced and professional instructors and each offer something special for all campers! Whether your interest is cooking, computers, sports or crime scene investigation, you will enjoy a truly unique experience at Delaware Tech.  Camps include field trips daily and extended care is available.

All equipment, materials and field trip costs are included in the weekly fee! Register early, camps fill quickly and space is limited.

New Camps for 2008 include:
Japanese Journey, Rocket Camp, Sports Broadcasting Camp, Middle School Musical, Scrapbooking, Comic Book Design, Young Inventors Camp,  Young Poets Camp, and Rock Climbing Camp!

And by popular demand, we have added more cooking and science camps at both our Stanton and Wilmington locations!

Athletic Schedules
Delaware Tech is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association, Region XIX. Students interested in athletic participation must meet NJCAA eligibility requirements. For more information call 453-3753, or e-mail Susan Pacheco.

Intramural:
Activity coordinators will post information regarding intramural sports programs when they are offered at each campus. Students are responsible for personal health insurance coverage.
