| Campus Director's Message as of 1/18/08 Recently, we sat down to discuss the great things happening at the Delaware Tech Stanton/Wilmington Campus. We agreed that we were aware of most everything going on at both locations, but wondered if the rest of the staff and faculty were just as informed. The reality is we as a Campus have simply outgrown our ability to know what is going on by word of mouth or through a periodic newsletter. We decided we needed a vehicle by which people could advertise and promote what is happening within their individual department and to do so on a timely basis. The new website that you see is the product of that discussion. It is an opportunity for folks to proactively communicate with their coworkers about what is going on in their departments and divisions, their communities and their lives. I know many great things happen on this Campus on a daily basis; we want the rest of the Campus to know as well. We encourage you to write your own story, and even take your own pictures, and send them to campusconnections@dtcc.edu for immediate posting. There’s no reason why your department’s event couldn’t be made public to the campus community within a day or two We are doing great things at the Stanton/Wilmington Campus, so talk about it and more importantly, let’s hear about it.  |
