Campus Director's Message as of 6/2/08
It’s hard to believe, but we have come to the end of another academic year! And what a wonderful year it was. Through the hard work of each and every member of our staff and faculty, we saw 450 students graduate from the Stanton/Wilmington Campus. Congratulations to all our students, and to all of you for putting forth the effort, energy and commitment to ensure an excellent educational experience for our graduates and underclassmen alike.
Traditionally, as we enter into the summer months, the activity and pace on campus tends to slow down a bit. Even with the success of our summer camps and all the welcomed organized chaos that goes along with them, life on campus drops down a notch. What will not be slowing down, however, is our commitment to dealing with the budget. Connie and I, along with our Administrative Staff, are working to ensure the steps needed to address the restrictions placed on us as a result of budget issues has a minimal impact on daily operations on Campus. With your cooperation and understanding, we can make this work and we will get through this lean time in our economy.
Connie and I want to again congratulate you all on a successful academic year. We are reminded everyday of the positive impact of Delaware Tech students and alumni, and we know it is a direct result of your hard work and dedication throughout the school year.
Thank you for all that you do all year long. Enjoy your summer!
