To be considered for in-state tuition rates, this form must be presented with a copy of the students’ current State of Delaware Drivers’ License or current State of Delaware ID card showing six months of continuous resident in the State of Delaware.  For the complete Delaware Technical and Community College Residency Policy please go to our online Student Handbook or visit our Policies Web page .

Admission Process

New students must complete the application and placement testing process (if applicable) before registering for classes. Placement and an admission information session are arranged through the Admissions Office (Stanton 454-3954; Wilmington 571-5343). All degree applicants and non-degree applicants taking a course with math or English prerequisites must take the placement test unless they submit a transcript indicating that they have completed college level math and English courses with at least a C grade.


Registration Process

New students
New students must complete the application process before registering. Apply early for the best selection of classes.

Returning students
Make an appointment with your advisor to schedule your classes. If you need to confirm your advisor assignment, please call your technology department. Remember to register early for the best selection of courses.

Students who have not attended for more than two years
Complete a readmission form (no fee) and return it to the Admissions Office. Meet with a technology counselor to review your educational career plans. Meet with an advisor to verify program requirements, arrange a schedule and register.
