Zooming in on Education:

Drawing from a variety of sources - "stories ripped from the headlines " - including
national news, local news, and higher education trends/developments , I plan to identify
current issues with high relevance to teaching at DTCC, and write a weekly commentary
about such issues. This commentary will be organized in the form of a blog, with reactions
and discussion invited and encouraged. The overarching theme will concern teaching and
learning effectiveness. The goal is to challenge colleagues to think about and respond
to how the issues raised could be applied to classroom and other teaching formats across
a wide range of technology programs.
