A consortium of colleges and universities in south-eastern states, the SREB - Southern Region Educational Board devloped a tuition-savings agreement to allow students from other states pay in-state, or discounted tuition, if their home state institutions of higher education did not offer a particular program of study. Delaware has participated in the ACM since 1998.
Participation by an undergraduate institution is voluntary, and regulations and requirements vary between different programs of study and different schools.
To qualify you must:
* Be a legal resident of one of the SREB states
* Select a program eligible for residents of your home state
* Complete the admission process at the institution offering the eligible Academic
Common Market program
* Certify your residency in your home state
For participating institutions, study through the Academic Common Market, can offer the opportunity to obtain a bachelors degree in the field of architecture, structural engineering, or other qualifying program without having to pay full out-of-state tuition. The student should review the eligible programs and participating institutions at the SREB Academic Common Market web site.
Note: the information on the DTCC department web site about transfer opportunities is provided as a courtesy to our students. Definitive requirements can only be obtained from senior institutions.
