Machinist Training Certificates

Well trained machinists are in demand in today's job market. The Machinist Training Certificate Program will provide you with the technical job skills required to obtain an entry level, skilled position in a machine shop or in a similar manufacturing environment. Our modern machine shop facility provides hands-on classroom instruction that prepares you with the necessary job skills to get started in the machinist field.

Delaware Tech offers a two step Machinist Certificate Program where you will begin with learning manual machining skills in conjunction with basic math and computer skills, then conclude with basic skills in computer numerical machining. The Introductory Machinist Certificate can be earned by successfully completing 16 credit hours. The second step is the Machinist Certificate which can be earned by successfully completing an additional 13 credit hours. The certificate programs can be completed on a part-time basis with the option of day and/or evening courses.
