Welding Equipment

The welding facilities at Delaware Tech Stanton support a wide variety of welding training.  Welding technology fundamentals are taught as part of the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program.  Our Corporate and Community Program division offers an on going Welding evening program and will also provide welding training for area industry.  The shop handles approximately 10 trainees during hands on welding instruction.  The following welding processes are supported:

Shielded Metal Arc Welding  (Stick Welding)

Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG Welding)

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding  (TIG Welding)

Plasma arc cutting

Oxy Fuel Brazing

Oxy Fuel Cutting

Oxy Fuel Welding

1          Millermatic 210 amp MIG with Mini spool gun

1          Miller Synchrowave 250 amp  TIG/ Stick

1          Lincoln Squarewave 225 amp TIG/ Stick

1          Miller 330ABP TIG/ Stick

1          Airco 300CV with wire feeder MIG

1          Airco 450 CV with wire feeder MIG

4          Miller Dial Arc 250 amp AC/DC Stick

1          Thermal Dynamics Plasma Arc Cutting Machine

8          Oxy-Fuel Torch Set-Ups
