Delaware Tech’s men’s basketball team begins its official practice in early October and meets in the Stanton campus gymnasium. The official game schedule begins in early November and continues through February. Delaware Tech is a Region XIX member, competing against teams in the tri-state area (PA/NJ/MD). Some athletic scholarships are available and are awarded by the men’s basketball coach.

• Overall Record for 2008-09: 25-12
  
• Won Region XIX and District 9 Playoffs  to move onto the NJCAA National Playoffs in 2009
  
• Several players are moving on to Div II, four year universities
  
• Coach Burgess won Region XIX Coach of the Year – 2002, 2009
