Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students This conference is designed to encourage underrepresented minority students to pursue advanced training in the biomedical and behavioral sciences. Students who attend this conference join with thousands of individuals to network and share information about graduate school, summer internship opportunities and research findings. 

Bridges to the Future Program  provides support to institutions to help students progress to the next level of education and/or training. The programs encourage students from underrepresented groups and/or populations disproportionately affected by health disparities to pursue advanced degrees and careers in the biomedical and behavioral sciences.  


Delaware Biotechnology Institute (DBI) With the goal of helping to establish Delaware as a center of excellence in biotechnology and the life sciences, Delaware Biotechnology Institute (DBI) helps to create strong networks of people in these fields. DBI promotes research endeavors, education initiatives and entrepreneurship.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It provides support for researchers around the world to conduct medical research and investigate issues related to health.  

University of Delaware NUCLEUS Program The Network of Undergraduate Collaborative Learning Experiences for Undergraduates Scholars (NUCLEUS) is a program at the University of Delaware designed to help recruit, retain and graduate academically talented minority students in science disciplines.
