Associate of Arts Degrees in Teaching Mathematics Education Do you want to teach math to middle or high school students? If you do, you would be entering a critical need teaching field where the demand far exceeds the supply. Delaware Tech now has Associate of Arts of Teaching degrees in Mathematics Secondary Education (MSE) and Middle Level Mathematics Education (MLME). These associate degrees are the first step towards a career in teaching mathematics at a high school or middle school. Both MSE and MLME programs provide rigorous math course work, integrated educational technology, and experiences in school settings. Students who pursue MLME degree will major in math and have the option to enroll in one of three minor areas of study: science, social science or English. Connected Degree Sheet The College has established program-to-program articulation agreements that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with baccalaureate programs to create smooth transfer opportunities. The Connected Degree programs offer clear and economical pathways to high quality educational attainment. The articulation agreements enable a graduate to transfer to the senior institution as a junior, provided the required courses have been completed and the appropriate CUM GPA has been achieved as required by the receiving institution.
