| Camp Behavior |

| I - POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT: |
| Delaware Technical & Community College strives to maintain a positive and safe environment for all camps. Our professional staff will engage students in an encouraging and constructive manner. Delaware Tech employs a qualified and trained staff who will manage student behaviors to ensure a positive experience for all campers. Disruptive behavior will be reduced by: |
- Using preventative management techniques
- Encouraging self-discipline
- Stressing positive behaviors and interactions
- Establishing camp rules and guidelines

| II - CONSEQUENCES FOR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR |
- Student may be counseled and/or reprimanded
- Student may be removed from camp for a specific period of time
- Student may be removed from camp for the remainder of the day
- Student may be sent home for the remainder of the day
- Student may be removed from camp for the remainder of the week
- Student may be refused from ALL subsequent camp enrollments

| III - STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT |
| Students will also be required to comply with the Delaware Technical & Community College Student Code of Conduct. The Board of Trustees has determined that the following student actions are unacceptable and subject to disciplinary action: |
- Behavior which jeopardizes the property of the College, or the life and bodily safety of any other person, or member or guest of the College community. Such behavior shall include, but will not be limited to, the incitement of or acts of force, coercion, violence, intimidation or any interference with the free movement upon the College premises of any other person, member or guest of the College community.
- Speech-oriented activities or publications, which disrupt or threaten to disrupt the orderly operation of the classroom or camp.
- Personal habits, personal appearance or behaviors, which cause distraction in, or disturbance or disruption of the orderly operation of the classroom or camp.
- Gambling, abuse and/or possession of illegal drugs and/or alcohol, and use and/or possession of weapons or firearms.
- Plagiarism, cheating and/or other behavior indicating academic dishonesty.

IV – REFUNDS |
| NO REFUNDS will be issued if a student is removed from any part of a camp. This includes students who may be expelled from camp on the first day. Refunds for subsequent camps will be provided to students who are refused participation in camps for which they have already enrolled but have not started. |
