| 5 Day Intensive Workshop |

This course will prepare the student for the BPI Building Analyst Professional certification exam. The student will understand the "house as a system" through the measurement and analysis of building performance indicators. Students will be able to demonstrate diagnostic testing skills using blower-door equipment, appropriate meters, and other specialized measurement tools. Students will gain a working knowledge of combustion safety, duct testing, base-load analysis and preparation of audit results reports
Course length is approximately 52 hours with classroom and field work. At the conclusion of the course work, students will participate in a national certification exam (BPI - see below).

Why do you need this training? |
| To become BPI certified you must complete BPI's written exam and field practice test. Registration for BPI testing are not included in the cost of the training. |
|
|
With this training you will learn the importance of considering all technology advances in making determinations about the saftey, health and energy efficiency of residential and commercial building applications.
Look at the benefits of remodeling versus total retrofitting as well as the total system concept and whole house envelope for planning new construction. |
