| This course covers all areas of State law regulating real estate transactions in the State of Delaware. Students will participate in a Real Estate Program Orientation and a Math Pre-test in the first night of class. Students passing this test with an 80% or above will be exempt from the Math Course and are encouraged to bring a calculator to class on August 27th. | The Real Estate Review class has been added to the program to assist students in passing the Licensure Exam on the very first try. Students will participate in a comprehensive review of Real Estate Math, Law and Sales courses. | New Real Estate Program Requirements |
| 1. |
Real Estate Pre-licensing students must complete the CPT (College Placement Test) to determine if they possess the minimum academic skills necessary to be successful in this program. Students that do not score at least a "70" on both the Arithmetic and Reading tests will not be eligible for the Real Estate Program. These students are encouraged to enroll in additional Math and English courses in order to obtain the appropriate skills needed for the Real Estate profession. The cost for the CPT is $10, and you may call the Terry Campus Testing Center (857-1207) to schedule your test. |

Students not obtaining a score of "70" or above may take the test a second time at no additional charge |

b. |
Students who have obtained an Associates OR Bachelors degree are not required to take the CPT. Students must supply documented proof (copy of diploma or transcripts) of degrees that have been earned |

Students who are already a licensed Realtor from another state are not required to take the CPT, and may elect to enroll in the Law course only. |
| 2. |
ALL students must pass both Real Estate Principles and Sales AND Real Estate Math in order to take the Real Estate Law course. Students who elect to enroll in all 3 classes will receive a full refund for the Law course if they do not receive a passing grade in Sales and/or Math. |
