Fun food for the big game! We'll kick-off with simple Cheddar Cheese Roll-ups for an hors d' oeuvre. Cajun-style crab cakes with basil mayonnaise will be the opening kick-off, followed by a game turning grilled vegetable and Monterey Jack quesadilla. But the come from behind play-of-the-day will be an exciting green pepper chili with pork and potatoes.

Isn't it your turn to entertain? We'll make a "do ahead" Chicken curry with apples and raisins served with Basmati rice and our own Mango chutney and appropriate condiments. Then round off the buffet with fresh garden salad dressed with white balsamic vinaigrette; Marinated cucumber salad; warm Brie cheese with pepper jelly and dessert of Roasted Pear Bread Pudding.

Let's prepare a few basic items in the Culinary Arts kitchen that will build your confidence to do more at-home cooking. We'll start with an artisan Whole Wheat style bread, then prepare a delicious Butternut Squash Soup. For the main course we will saute' Chicken dipped in Parmesan and served with Mushrooms and finish with Chocolate Souffle' Cake.

In the past salads were pretty ho-hum, but things have changed. This evening's "Hands-on" workshop in the culinary kitchen will feature "Just Salads" as the main course. An all American taco salad, minty Lebanese Tabbouleh, famous Cobb Salad, flavorful Thai Chicken Salad and wonderful Mediterranean Salad Nicoise with Tuna. Now you will be able to tempt even the most reluctant salad eater.
