About the Blue Room       The Blue Room introduces the young preschoolers to a classroom environment that is structured, yet flexible to individual needs and nurturing. During their stay in the Blue Room children are immersed in a safe environment that provides materials and equipment which enables children to engage in meaningful play. The lesson plans follow the guidelines of developmentally appropriate practice, Creative Curriculum, and the Delaware Early Leaning Foundations for School Success from the Delaware Department of Education.
