Child Development Center Title
The Child Development Center is housed on the Terry Campus of Delaware Tech. The center consists of four classrooms for children ages six weeks to five years old and is open year round. The hours are from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. The RED ROOM prepares four to five year olds for kindergarten by working on their social and cognitive skills. The BLUE ROOM teaches two and three year olds basic motor skills with hand on activities as well as basic social skills. In the GREEN ROOM, toddlers build self-help skills by enjoying climbing, singing, and reading books. Our NURSERY gives individualized attention to infants as they accomplish milestone after milestone. The center has an INDOOR and OUTDOOR play area to encourage children to improve their gross motor skills everyday. An up-to-date COMPUTER LAB provides each child an opportunity to keep up with the latest technology.
