Chef Ed, a culinary arts instructor at Delaware Tech since 1994, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and apprenticed at the Greenbrier Resort Hotel.
As a Certified Executive Chef in the American Culinary Federation and member of the American Academy of Chefs, Chef Hennessy utilizes his 30 years of cooking experience to guide students to become professional chefs.
Chef Hennessy received the 2004 Excellence In Teaching Award.
Elena F. Sirignano
Chef Elena, an adjunct instructor at the Terry Campus since 2007, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. She has worked in all areas of the restaurant trade including line cook, kitchen manager, food and beverage manager, and restaurant manager at various restaurants around the country, most notably at two Chef Thomas Keller-owned restaurants Bouchon and The French Laundry in Yountville, California.
