| Spanish courses at the Terry Campus include SPA 133 Spanish for Social Services, SPA 136 Spanish Communication I, and SPA 137 Spanish Communication II. These courses are offered in the spring and fall semesters. Besides learning basic vocabulary, students will be exposed to simple grammar structures. Much work will center on pronunciation as well as reading and writing skills. Developing listening comprehension skills is a major emphasis in all courses so that, eventually, communication with the Spanish speaking population is possible. Students in the Criminal Justice, Human Services and the Business technologies will be required to take Spanish classes. |
