LEGAL ASSISTANT (Paralegal)

The legal assistant option is designed to provide students with the skills to successfully pursue a career in a profession that is in great demand nationwide.
A legal internship provides work experience to supplement classroom knowledge and applications. Diversified employment opportunities are available in federal, state and local government agencies, law firms, the court system, banks, insurance companies, private business and corporations.
Students have the option of receiving a certificate in specialized classes or an associate degree, which would provide a foundation for continuation of higher education through articulation with baccalaureate degree programs.
