To Apply for Admission to the College (Open-Door Admission):

  1. Attend an Information Session to learn about the various technologies and the conditions for admission into each program. Call (302) 888-5288 for the information session schedule (or see below).

  2. Obtain a college admission packet and application by calling (302) 888-5288. Complete and return the application to the Wilmington campus with the non-refundable application fee.

  3. If you are interested in pursuing an Allied Health Program, submit the college application to the Wilmington campus Admissions Office (302) 571-5343 to ensure proper advisement and tracking.

  4. Request that your high school and/or college transcripts be sent to the same Admissions Office. The Wilmington campus mailing address is 333 Shipley Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801.

  5. Arrange to take the computerized placement test unless you have already completed college level Math and English courses with a ā€œCā€ grade or better. The placement test is administered by the Admissions Office (302) 571-5343 and is used to determine appropriate course placement.

Call (302) 571-5326 to schedule an appointment with the Allied Health Counselor to discuss your
placement test results and select your course schedule.

To Apply for Admission to an Allied Health Technology (Selective Admission):

There are specific criteria for admission to the various Allied Health Programs. Admissions procedures must be completed by February 1st of the year the student wishes to enter the program.

  1. Attendance at an Allied Health Information Session is required for admission into any Allied Health Program at the Wilmington location. Written information and a discussion of the admissions process is offered at this session (see schedule below). Preference is given to students who meet in-state residence requirements as outlined in the college catalog or course schedule

  2. Call (302) 571-5326 to schedule an appointment with the Allied Health new student counselor at the Student Development Center, Wilmington location.

  3. If you are applying for the Dental Hygiene (DHY) Program at the Terry/Owens extension site, submit your college application to the campus closest to you. If you are on the Terry Campus, contact (302) 857-1734 for academic advisement. If you are on the Owens Campus, contact (302) 855-5932 for DHY advisement, orm(302) 856-5400 for all other Allied Health program advisement.
