The Medical Transcriptionist Studies Program is available to students meeting the admissions criteria. Technical courses are open to students who have been selected to enter the program. These courses are sequential and are offered only one time per year. OAT 121-Keyboarding is a prerequisite requirement fro this program. Student may exempt from this course by taking a timed typing test and scoring a minimum of 45 corrected words per minute. RDG 120-Critical Reading and Thinking is a required course unless the student is exempt.
