The Science Department serves as the foundation for the technical programs. It makes a significant contribution to the excellence of the graduates. Evidence for this is in the high successful pass rate on national examinations. Also for many science courses offered the credits are transferable to surrounding institutions of higher education.

There is strong collaborative interaction between the allied health and science instructors. Faculty who are responsible for the various science courses meet regularly with those responsible for the technical courses.

There are two state-of-the-art interactive A.D.A.M.® computer labs and multiple science labs to support student opportunities to learn.
